A frenetic frenzy

Driving myself crazy

Never ending

To-do lists

Ever growing

Events and trysts

The shoulds and the coulds

The must

Wreaking havoc

On trust

I spin

And spin

Seemingly

Out of control

Then,

Through the spinning

I catch myself grinning

It’s hardly a surprise

As soon as I realize

The whirling dervish

Do find

The stillness

Through the spinning!

Chuckling

I find my center

And the rest of the world

Amusing
