फर्क... The Difference

तुम में  और  उन में  क्या फर्क है? शायद  कद काठी  काया उम्र  शायद  तुम लगते हो चुलबुले  वो थोड़े विनम्र  तुमसे जो सारी बातें कह लेती हूँ  बेबाक बेझिजक  उनसे कहने में आती है शर्म  गर खलती कभी   दूरियाँ हैं तुमसे  उन्हें भी गले लगा लेती हूँ  सही, और  गलत में  क्या फर्क है? जो मेरे लिए सही है  तुम्हारे लिए हो सकता है गलत  तुम जिसे शौकिया आज़माओ उससे   पड़ सकती है मुझे कोई लत  फिर क्या सही है  और कौन गलत? क्या ये सारे फर्क  नहीं सिर्फ हमारे भ्रम? समझने-समझाने के लिए  क्यों करना पड़ता है इतना श्रम?  सभी तो हैं भ्रम  तुम भी और वो भी  जिनको रूप मैंने स्वयँ दिया  जिनके गुणों का वर्णन किया  जिनसे बेइन्तहा प्यार किया  तुम भी  और  वो भी  मेरे अपने दर्पण  मेरे स्वजन  मेरे सृजन  शुक्रगुज़ार जिनके लिए हूँ मैं  कण-कण  हर क्षण  - सितम्बर ४, २०१४

Between You And them What is The difference? Perhaps The height, the weight The form and the age Perhaps You can be boisterous While they personify The polite Sage I may pour my heart out to you No holds barred But be ashamed to speak up ‘cause They’re on a different page Though when it is hard to face This chasm between us I seek shelter in their embrace Between Right And wrong What is The difference? What may be right for me May be completely wrong for you And the very things you favor Could be addictive Destructive even, were I to savor Then what is right And who is wrong? Isn’t this difference Simply an illusion? Why is it so much work This art of persuasion? Everything’s An illusion You And them The ones I fashioned arduously Of whom I write so wondrously Whom I’ve loved and will, endlessly You And Them My mirrors My kin My hallowed creation For whom Gratitude Fills me In every single fragment In each and every moment - September 4, 2014
